Shipping & Return

Shipping:

  • All orders are shipped within 3-5 working days.
  • Most orders are delivered within 7-10 business days.
  • Delays in delivery may occur during public holidays or due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Orders above INR 1000 qualify for free shipping in India.
  • International shipping charges are extra and will be provided separately based on the location.
  • Reliable courier companies and/or Speed Post are used for shipping.
  • THE INDIAN ETHNIC EMPORIO is not liable for any delivery delays caused by the courier company or factors beyond their control.
  • After shipping, the tracking number and shipping agency information will be shared via email.
  • Orders can be tracked using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping partner’s website.
  • Delivery will be attempted two times, and if unsuccessful, the package will be returned to the company. Refunds will be provided after deducting the reverse shipping fee.
  • It’s important to provide a complete shipping address with the zip code and a mobile number for hassle-free delivery.
  • In case of delivery issues due to incorrect details, a refund will be given after deducting the reverse shipping fee.
  • If the tracking link shows the order as “Delivered,” but you haven’t received it, contact theindianethnicemporio@gmail.com within 24 hours to investigate the issue with the courier service.

Cash on Delivery (COD):

  • For COD orders, an advance payment of INR 100 is required.
  • The balance amount is to be paid upon delivery.
  • COD is available only for orders above INR 1000.

International Shipping:

  • Shipping costs may vary based on the shipping address, weight, and fragility of the product.
  • Shipping costs are provided separately and are not included in the item’s price.
  • Duties and taxes for international orders are not included and should be paid directly to the shipping agency upon delivery.
  • If a customer refuses to pay these charges, no refunds will be given.
  • Delivery for international orders usually takes 12-14 business days, and customs clearance may sometimes cause further delays.
  • International orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Returns Policy:

  • Products are eligible for return if the item received does not match the description, or if there is a quality defect or damage.
  • Customized products, special bulk orders, and sale/discounted items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
  • Unboxing pictures/videos must be provided within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Slight variations in color tone & design pattern of handloom sarees are not considered defects, as each handloom saree is made entirely by hand, giving it a unique appeal.
  • Minor differences in color & appearance may occur due to photography limitations, different device screen settings, and lighting conditions.
  • Return requests are treated on a case-by-case basis, and resolution is provided at the discretion of the company.
  • Products for exchange must be returned within 10 days of delivery.
  • Credit notes equivalent to the cost amount are provided for exchanges; no monetary refunds are given.
  • The product should be packed in its original packaging with all inclusions.
  • Return items will be checked, and if they fail to meet expectations, they will be returned at the customer’s expense.
  • Missing products should be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • In case of unavailability of a replacement piece, a credit note will be issued, valid for six (6) months.
  • International orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Exchange Process:

  • To request a return/exchange, email theindianethnicemporio@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with the required information and, if applicable, images of the item.
  • Emails or images/videos sent after 48 hours of delivery will not be considered.

General Terms & Conditions:

  • Orders cannot be canceled once shipped.
  • Products purchased during sale periods or discounts are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Refunds will be given after deducting the reverse shipping fee for wrong or incomplete shipping addresses.
  • Refunds will be given after deducting the reverse shipping fee for three failed delivery attempts or refused packages.
  • Please ensure communication is in the English language.
